Burt Jacobson is now 87 years old and still comes into the office daily - but when the Eventual happens - his stories will be gone forever. He mostly defended Adult book and "novelty" stores from the public prosecutors who sought to shut them down on charges of obscenity - almost always winning his cases around California. (Adult novelty stores are legal out this way.) Back in those days, he'd travel to Stockton, Vallejo and beyond to take on a good challenge. But he didn't involve himself much with casinos and card rooms, although he learned about their operations (he used to enjoy playing craps). Think Harold's was his only such client.

He gets a kick out of my stories about how I (only sometimes!!!) "beat the casino" by walking out with slot-machine proceeds.
