Sorry to hear about your loss. That can turn things upside down for a while.

By all means, come to the convention ... for a diversion if nothing else. You may renew your interest in chips, or at least, have a chance to chat with fellow collectors for a few days.

BTW, the poker tournament should be on Friday evening -- starts around 6 pm, I think. The Auction is always on Thursday evening. A complete listing of events usually appears on the club board about a month before.
