We finally made it out early Sunday a.m.....lines at airport in LV took about an hour and 45 minutes to get through...random luggage search, and of course our two bags were selected. Larry's slot cards, matches, room keys, etc..were all looked at. The guy kept marveling at everything he had in there. We made it out of there and then we got to security checkpoints. Larry's chips, silver strikes, coins etc. were stopped. They had us take out each stack and check it all out. We had a bottle of wine and a wine carrier (a gift), which they opened and confiscated the cork screw as a weapon. That took about 10 minutes or so. So yes they are checking, but it wasn't too bad.
