searching for a file or folder isn't much different from older versions - in file explorer, make sure you have clicked on 'my computer' so it searches everything on your computer (and not just one folder or sub-folder), and do a word search. File Explorer is complicated now because everything will appear twice - in their normal folders, and in folders as part of commonly used folders/files. It's a lot of noise to those of us who prefer our own organizational methods.
