This is how I’ve seen Matchbook collectors keep and save them.
I’m pretty sure they can’t fly with them intact, especially if they have hundreds or thousands of them.
Also they display so much better this way
Not saying you can’t and people don’t keep or like them whole, mine are still mostly whole some have s few have missing matches. Basically because that’s the way chip collectors seem to like them.
But to the Matchbook community I could rip the matches out and they wouldn’t care or think I was devaluing them at all from what I’ve seen.
