I like your method, I perhaps I will adopt with a small tweak replacing names.

As for California... I've always kept California kind of at arms length since it's sometimes difficult to know what is a legal card rooms, illegal club, or something in the middle. Same with Washington/Oregon. I really just need to do some more research. I have many tagged as "illegal" in those states, but for me to say its a comprehensive list, I'm not there yet.
