Every year, since 1998, we are in Europe for 6 - 8 weeks. We never
have used debit or credit cards because of the European fees for USD cards.
We always use cash ....

The best place to get a fair cost on buying any currency is AAA which has no
fees if you are a member or know a friend who is as member. They are cheaper
than the banks, and delivery is only 2 - 3 days.

NEVER use the currency exchanges in the airports or train stations, they say fee
free which is BS ....
