I first met Sheldon at the convention he was a volunteer and he was very professional and checked my credentials getting into the show room floor. His better half Christine came over to my table and we hit it off she was so sweet and very affectionate, Sheldon at that time didn’t know if I was a good guy or a bad guy but the next time we met we shook hands and smiled at each other and our club relationship began. Sheldon did so much for our club and hobby with his wonderful interviews on television his hard work and dedication to the rules and regulations of our club is endless hours at the computer and having having meetings with the club board etc. always very beneficial to all of us. We seemed to really bond on our last bus trip tour here in Las Vegas Christine urged him to go on the trip his health was failing but he was a real trooper and seem to enjoy all of it they sat next to me upfront by the driver and he really thanked me for a wonderful day. Upon announcement of our third bus trip Christine and Sheldon emailed me almost immediately to reserve a spot on our next trip to Route 66 unfortunately that seat will be empty .... We will keep that seat empty in his honor upfront and Christine I hope will make the trip with us. Sheldon was a tough old bird from Chicago ... And may God bless Sheldon Smith
