If you head from Las Vegas to Pahrump about halfway you turn west onto Tecopa Road 20 miles through the desert mountains you enter an oasis called China Date Ranch. For years I wanted to take the tour of this unique lost farm ranch ... If you like history you’ll be traveling down the old Spanish Trail and visit places where Kit Carson spent the night and where the old Tonopah tidewater railroad went through. I packed a sub sandwich and spend an hour picnicking at the ranch and I brought home some souvenirs fresh made date nut bread also I had a date shake .... very interesting it’s a great day trip from Las Vegas here are some photos .....
