But what about when a "live" chip has notches? Such as the Viejas Comp Chips? I cannot convince collectors that they are really nice chips to have in a collection!

Have no idea why they went with notched chips - but sometimes I can have a bit of fun looking at the depth of them - some chips seem to have more shallow "bites" taken out of them. I don't really mind either chips or notches except for those chips that have huge triangles cut out of them. Now, those are ugly!
