I'd make them help with the relief effort. I'd make them get to know the friends and families of the people they killed. I'd make them watch as children cry on endlessly because Mommy or Daddy aren't coming home again. I'd do anything I could to make them see the results of their actions in purely human terms. Then, just maybe, they'd feel the kind of pain we want them to. It's easy to hate someone you do not know. It's easy to celebrate a "victory" over them. It's not so easy when you've connected with those people.

Peace only comes from love, respect and understanding.
