Talking about disasters at Thanksgiving - one year we were at my mothers house all day. Around 4 o'clock my mother goes to check on the turkey so we can eat in little while only to find out that she never turned on the oven! How do you cook a turkey dinner for 3 or 4 hours and never check the oven???
