should, in my opinion, be swift and decisive. I think we should give the Taliban 48 hours to turn Osama bin Laden over to American authorities. If they don't, we should then send whatever military forces are necessary to get him ourselves.

I am not in favor of just levelling Afghanistan, as there is no more justification for wantonly killing their civilians than there is for killing ours. But, I do agree with President Bush's decision to treat those who harbor the perpetrators of this attack the same as the attackers themselves. And I do accept that any military action in this regard may result in civilian casualties.

I also agree with the sentiment expressed by Archie Black in another thread:

Whether he was involved in yesterday's attacks or not, we know he has been involved in past attacks (i.e., those in Africa). We should take him out, plain and simple.

Haven't posted on the boards in some time (combination of work, travel & personal reasons) and apologize for any delays in responding to inquiries here and by email.

Have a few things pending, such as the "pee" shirts, regarding which I will respond as soon as I can. At the moment, I am in Southern California (was on my way to LAX to fly back to San Francisco when the attacks occurred; turned around just short of the airport when they announced that it was being shut down; I may have to rent a car to drive back to Northern California).

Will be returning to more active participation in the near future.
