Whilst it is a shame about that particular plaque, as far as I can see (but again, could be wrong but won't know unless somebody corrects me) it is of a far, far less superior quality than the ones I have now. Plus, is it a different type of construction too?
As an example I found 3 only of this particular beauty. 1 is a "blinder" for obvious reasons, another is just lovely/gorgeous (IMHO) and the other has changed (I assume although again, maybe wrong) so it looks totally different. The 2 beautiful ones with the lunette (no unicorns so not sure where it fits in the equation yet) have a "pearl" effect whilst the other doesn't hence my guess at "change," I hope that makes sense.
Now if that is still perfect (in so many ways) after 27 years in the barn then I have no doubts that a few more weeks with me will not change its "life" too drastically (yes, usual, maybe wrong).
It has been a massive learning curve for me as I am in way over my head and still so much to learn and come to terms with but so far it all seems good.
If they do rot or deteriorate I will be gutted and inform everybody so some can laugh at my expense (always good it seems) but until that time I can only think good thoughts about them all.
I believe it was fate that I had the dumb luck to find these as I am the person who has put most of that casino on the guide so..............
