Everyones points are pretty well taken at this point. One reason the numbers can be twisted around a bit is because of the fact that of an entire membership voting on an issue, possibly 40% of the members will vote but chances are a small group like the 400 no-slabbers, all will vote. That means of 2500 active members in our club, only 1000 will vote...400 of them are the non-slabbers....a 40% chunk now and a very powerful force.
