FYI, just for accuracy, I think the home address you list should be Kessler Parkway (not Kissler).

Actually, a nice quiet area about 5 minutes from where I grew up. Rode my bike in that vicinity all the time ... though not back as far as the 1930's!

The address is in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas, only 5 minutes from downtown where the Southland Hotel was.
