Official SNCCC monthly meeting report for 09/10/2019!
Brought to you by your ex-president and currently SNCCC Publicity Director, Sheldon Smith!
Guests are always welcome and members are always welcome too! Membership is only $12.00 a year. Bill Lange FLEW in again for this meeting! Attendance was pretty good, around 35-40! We are still at 239 members!
Our Guest Speaker this month was Mr. C. Pearson Gorham, Las Vegas Studio Graphics Supervisor, Gaming Partners International (GPI). GPI's product portfolio includes casino currency (chips, plaques and jetons), RFID products and technology, layouts, dice, cards, gaming furniture and accessories, plus other table game related products including European and American roulette wheels. His presentation was very interesting and the best part may have been the chips that he gave out at the end of his presentation. See the sampling of chips pics! More pics of meeting to follow?
The next meeting is: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 8TH!
The auction was great with a lot of under bidders fighting for the right to posses the chip of their choice! Our auctioneer Dale Horyna was in fine voice! VP Follis did a fine job parading back and forth showing the chip to be auctioned, each and every time! A special raffle was held with the winners receiving their very own sets of SNCCC chips! The cash 50/50 raffle did well too and there were many 2nd-3rd etc. winners as well! Ron Gaudette did great video work for us as well! Well done Ron!
President Vergatos ran the meeting in his usual competent manner and a great time was had by all! Jerry bought a house in Arizona and is now a LAND BARON and Jerry and Cindy have relocated to Arizona. Jerry is contemplating a chapter of SNCCC in Arizona!
Tree Shields handled the members badge distributions with dignity and aplomb! Secretary Follis expounded on the minutes from the August meeting! Vice-President Mr. Rick Lonski and Treasurer Mrs. Terri Lonski did a fine job too! So too did membership officer Mr. Ogden! Member Mike Spinetti has recovered from serious surgery and was at the meeting along with Mikko!
If you live in Las Vegas or are coming to town and are even remotely interested in casino memorabilia and/or a good time you should drop by!
