Hit it 2004.. Property was under repair for a year while "Full Comps" (RFB, flight and tax) were extended to locals out of Ft Lauderdale and here in Palm Beach. Then, when completed, along came Hurricane Willma in 2005, and wiped out the casino, hotel and all of the Int't Bazaar. The casino at Lucaya has been closed for years, too. The Freeport property was originally improved on Crown Land, under a 99-year lease. That lease will expire about the end of Donald J. Trump's second term of POTUS. It's a nice piece of property... and will do well...
