I received some new chips from the Dallas/Fort Worth area and was pleasantly surprised to find a couple new colors to chips were already knew about.
The chips were featured in my article for the CCTN a couple years back about the Benny Binion gambling wars. They are important chips with the initials of three partners which started the entire war. For a quick refresher, the "BHS" stand for Benny Binion, Herbert Noble and Sam Murray. Murray owned the games at the Santa Paula Hotel and Noble was the manager. Binion owned a piece of all the games in town and this chip was right before the war broke out. Noble ratted Murray out to Binion, who had Murray killed and put Noble in charge. Soon after, Noble got too big and turned on Binion and the Dallas gambling wars began!
