I have a desktop that works fine except every month of so I have to beat on the hard drive to get it going. Eventually it will just fail completely. Is there a way to get a second HD and copy everything, including the operating system, onto the new drive and have it work like it should? I see desktops for next to nothing at the estate sales I go to every week so getting the drive should be easy.
