All the ones I have seen DO include the H&C mold around the rim.

So, the one(s) you are showing without the H&C mold may have missed a step in the manufacturing process -- that is, an error. Depends on how many of these without the H&C mold turn up. You may have a pretty good error, if it turns out to be rare.
