Huntington and San Mateo Avenues meet in a

triangular fashion, with Artichoke Joe's today within that triangle. The old photo of Joe's seems to show railroad tracks behind the building. The original front door is on the south side of San Mateo. Other restaurant/casino buildings were added onto the original pool parlor building, taking in several surrounding lots.

Artichokes are very fearful of entering the casino. "They'll EAT you!!!"
