My buddy and I did this in Jan 86..Crazy trip First time in Vegas and seeing the different casinos and sportsbooks not available in AC that we were veterans of...I must have drank a case of COORS just by signing my name...Met so many other from across the country,lots of Midwest that time of year...One night security went around handing out flashlights room to room for a planned construction/ power outage for the what would become the Strat.No chips were saved but I did keep the packet below that held all the freebee info etc..
Any money won was spent on a midnight car run from LaGuardia airport to Newark parking as our flight was cancelled..I think it was $150 and we were lucky to find a guy willing to do that at that hour...
Only regret was not bringing home chips from all the casinos we hit at the time,but every single dollar was needed!!
