Traveling around...went to a couple of casinos and antique shops. None of the antique shops had any chips. The casinos don’t typically let chips leave (especially before 7pm)

Casino Barrier Saint Malo has about 100 slots and 4 table games. 2 black jack and 2 boule games. Only 1 blackjack table was going when we went. The smallest chip at the blackjack table is 5€. I had to ask the cage for smaller chips...they brought in a manager. I was able to get 2 of each of the smaller chips.

I also went to Casino de Granville. It’s about 50km away, but takes 1 1/2 hours to get there. The table games don’t open until 8pm. I asked at the cage to get some chips...they referred me to a manager. She was extremely nice!! She said they don’t typically let out chips (they have 2 blackjack tables(not running). I showed her some pictures of my collection. She was shocked that someone should collect such a thing.
She agreed to sell me a couple of chips. I gave her 2 chips from my trader stack. ...1 from Star in Sydney Australia and another from the California Club in Las Vegas. I was on my way out the door and into the parking lot when she ran out of the door yelling for me to stop and come back inside.
I thought I was in trouble.??
She told me to wait at the reception desk. I waited for 10 mins....she came back with the 2 jetons (red 50 & White 20) Both gifts for me....yippee!!
