Wow, that takes me back! I wonder if this one was mine.

I worked at the Nugget when these were distributed. I was there Oct 1989 to Dec 1993. When I transferred to the Mirage I was supposed to turn in my book. I kept it and had to pay a $7 fee.

A few years later a member of the local Southern Nevada chapter (I can't remember his name) set up a display of his GN memorabilia at a meeting and I was so impressed by it that I gave him my book. I remember thinking about it a few years after that when he died. I always wondered what happened to it.

I also have three different stock certificates from GN/Mirage Resorts. We got ten shares a year after the Mirage opened and then it split twice. When we were forced to sell to Kirk Kerkorian, I paid a $40 lost certificate fee to keep them. I still have those.
