Newspaper reporters often get things just a "leetle" wrong so JB's instead of JV's is a definite possibility. Why was Debra Saunders insistent on "cowboy" type lettering for the chips? My guess is the restaurant sign was also written in that font! Perhaps some day a matchbook or even a photo of the place will turn up, then we can see if that theory holds up.
