That was my old stomping grounds. When I got discharged from the Army my family had moved to that area. Carol is practically a native - her Dad ran the Sportsman's Hall back in the good old days before US50 was made into a Freeway. Carol's Dad belonged to the Hi-way 50 Association and knew all the South Tahoe casino owners who were also members. I remember finding a box of George's Gateway chips in Oroville and he told me where they were from and that he knew George Cannon.
Nice ashtray - I think I have one somewhere.
