I remember that chip well. The going price when released was around $25 ... but that was then.
It was fun entering the cavernous new MGM and buying a couple of stacks of $5's at the craps table to look through all the house chips to find one of these.

These Grand Opening chips, and the Betty Boop chips were in demand at the time.
