I was on Capri back in the Summer of 1969. I was in the Navy on the USS John F Kennedy. Two things I remember was hiring a cab driver to show me around island. Some of the high ground overlooking the ocean were really beautiful. I asked him to stop in a few bars along the way in some of the neat spots and we had a few beers together. I don't know if you can go bar hoping with with a taxi driver anymore. The other thing I recall was, wearing my navy uniform and being congradulated by many strangers because the astronauts landed on the moon the night before. And I don't recall seeing any casinos on Capri.
