That really made me think about how things have changed! In 1939 a lot of people didn't even have phones...and now the "phone" has been totally redefined. Almost everyone carries a mini-computer in their pocket, and they call it a phone.
I checked our other 1930's phone books...1937 didn't have Greenville, but 1938 did, and that goes with your postcard. So I scanned it, and posted it....but I pretended the post was for some small Nevada towns...
