Scanner surprise!! grin

A couple of weeks ago I decided it was time to buy a new printer; something we've done without for a few years because anything that we needed, I could print at work. Now that I'm retired, that option is gone. I just wanted a cheap little printer...nothing fancy, not an all-in-one, just a printer. I don't think they make those anymore! So my second choice was a cheap all-in-one. I got this Canon from Amazon (remember; when you buy from Amazon, sign up for their "Smile" program and the CCGTCC can get a small donation, generated by your purchase...no charge to you!). It cost $39.99, plus tax. Shipping was free.

I was scanning a few things today, and just for the heck of it decided to see if my new Canon wireless all-in-one would scan from my Mac. It did. Then...just for the heck of it, I decided to scan a page of chips...including a pink chip. Anyone who scans chips knows that not all scanners give the same results...especially on pink chips!

My old scanner is an Epson. Most, if not all, Epson scanners DO scan pink chips....here's the chips on my old scanner:

I didn't think a pink chip would show up as pink in the Canon scan....Surprise!!
