i often wonder how a California Cardroom chip gets attributed. The following chips(courtesy ChipGuide) are listed as being from Nancy Wallick’s Card Room in Davis, Ca. (Just west of Sacramento)

Nancy Wallick was born in 1951....she would of be 22 years old in 1973 when this card room was opened. In 1979....she received her PHD. Was most likely a college student during most of those years.
I have not gone down to the library to find out what business was at this location. I might later this week?

The only reason why I could begin to question this attribution is because I know that both styles of chips were sent to Nashville West in Sacramento.

I need to start getting this info out there.. I owe it to the Chipping community.
