I have several chip auctions on this week, and last night I received an offer on one of them. That surprised me, since I hadn't checked the "will accept offers" box when I listed the item. I've never checked that box.

When I looked at my auctions this morning, I noticed that about half of them showed that offers were now being accepted on them.

I called customer service and actually got someone who figured out what was happening. She said when you have a 10-day auction, there is now a program that kicks in the best offer feature if there are no bids on the eighth day of the auction. I removed the best offer feature on most of them but kept it on a few.

Just curious: Was anybody else aware of this feature?
