David....welcome to the ChipBoard.
A few things before you sell.
1. Is there any chance that you or one of your family members would like to hang onto the collection and possibly start collecting casino chips??
2. If the answer is no....then (I’m not much of a seller myself) I would think grouping the chips into like categories and selling in smaller lots might benefit you.
Maybe put all the foreign chips into separate countries. All the US chips into separate states or regions.
3. Most of the chips pictured might not sell for even face value.....which I find discouraging because we all know how much time, energy, and money spent acquiring these little gems.
4. Almost every chip collector on this site I would consider honorable. *** There are always exceptions
5. Always get a 2nd opinion on values....it could vary from chipper to chipper.
6. I would have interest in Chips/jetons from France. ( I went there a couple months back and began collecting from that region.) Especially Cannes and Nice.
7. I would just spend the next few days grouping them together in smaller lots....post on the ChipBoard.....and take the best posted offer. I’m sure that seasoned chippers will chime in and let you know what offers are good. Best wishes....Happy Holidays.
