The news article from Rockford, IL, West of Chicago, indicated the Club name was "Loop Social Club". Many of us from the Chicago area recognize the term "loop" to be the center of Chicago. An area bounded by the circular (loop) layout of the EL, or elevated commuter rail system. I believe the overall system, which provided service to outlying cities around Chicago, included a line to Rockford.
