I have not told this story in a little while so here goes. A year or so ago my son-in-law and I were at Casino Royale at the $2 table with 100X odds. I wasn't having any luck and left to play BJ. Returned to the craps table to find Zach with the dice and a good sized stack of chips. He was shooting and just couldn't lose. He held the dice for 45 minutes before crapping out. He was throwing hard ways. He was hitting his number. And he was just rolling them bones. The other players at the table were doing some serious betting. $2 on the pass line, $200 odds and $100 on each number, Green chips covered the hardways. The table gets real happy when you hit a hard way 6 and then you tell them you are going to throw the 8 next and then do it. Three quarters of the way through his roll they had to bring a fill to the table since they ran out of $100 chips. When it was over one guy cashed in for $5600, another for $4100 and several other for a table total that I saw of over $12,000. There was a delay when I cashed in because the cage was out of money and they had to open the vault. How much did we win? Not much. I came late and only got about $80. Zach won about $300. The guy that won $5600 tipped Zach another $300! But when you're hot, you're hot. BTW Zach and both of my daughters will be with us in Las Vegas in October celebrating my youngest daughter 21st birthday. Maybe Zach can do it again.
