Chips come in L mold (1950)and HHL molds.(1960)
The Club stated as a barber shop in 1911+/-
Then became a cigar shop with sandwiches in the 1920’s.
And then a pool hall in the late 1920’s. Gambling started soon after.
Any chip with the Elmo Club name is on my list. I live 1/2 mile from this place....it burned down in 1978. (During the ownership of a 3rd Elmo)
I only own the top chip...the other 2 and dice were on loan and have now have found there way back to there owner. After a long negotiation and hefty offers...they still are not in my collection.
There is also a Green $20 and white ante chip.
I would consider trading almost any chip in my collection for these chips
