Above is a notched version (1 of 2 known, that I know of) of the original issued $1,000 gaming chip for The Orleans. Turned out that in the first month of operation it was learned/realized that there was a very similar yellow with green inserts, 50 cent chip at the Casino Queen, also owned by Michael Gaughan. In short order, the chips were all pulled and sat in the vault until they were all destroyed.

The above scan shows remnants of the destroyed chips. To my knowledge, there are no known examples of the original issued $1,000 chip in the original state.
