It's unusual when you talk about nominating a group that you find everyone is deserving, that is not always the case.
With these three gentlemen (I use that term loosely) they all more than have earned the honor and deserve to be recognized.
Putting aside the fact these guys but out the definitive guide to our hobby, their individual actions merit the honor.
Briefly:
David Sarles - Past President. Has DONATED thousands of dollars of chips to the Club to auction off and the Club keeps 100% of the revenue. Used personal funds to purchase, perserve, and donate historic gaming items.
Jay Sands - Many years on the Board of Directors. Has worked on several projects behind the scenes. Has been totally involved with the Club for many years even while not on the Board.
David Spragg - In spite of the fact he's from "over there" he serves on the Board of Directors, has run the auction for many years including soliciting donations for the Club benefit. He has also run the Club website for many years.
This is far from an exhaustive list of their accomplishments but for those that don't know them it gives a quick insight into what these three have done for the Club and the hobby.
I would vote for any one of them individually so there is no reason not to support their selection as a group. I hope a majority of the HOF members will consider them when it comes to nominations and selection.
