Golden Nugget railings around the windows? Of the Exchange Club? One of these days I have to get my husband to stop at the Exchange Club. We normally just drive through Beatty.

We went through Goldfield, but we didn't stop at Elite Antiques...they looked closed when we went by. I wish I'd known...I would have loved to tour the Goldfield Hotel! I'd have tried my powers of persuasion to get my husband to stop for that!

We also went through Tonopah. The small building by the Mizpah Hotel is now the Mizpah Casino. We tried to get a couple of chips, but the cage didn't have any. I think he said that blackjack is only open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6-10 (or something like that). There's a building with a "Historic Tonopah Saloon" sign on it, and there was an "out of business" sale going on. Hubby said that when he went through there 50-ish years ago that was the Tonopah Club...he'd bellied up to the bar to tip a couple!
