We get hammered on gas, like 6 to 7 dollars a gallon, for the barge fees. It used to be about a dollar more a gallon but now we’re getting ripped off. Luckily it’s only a mile to work.
Some people have to drive to the interior of the island and back, or just to go to the otherside to camp or fish costs a bit just for gas.
