Thanks for the lead into the Terrible deals, I went and read. Now I'm more confused than ever. Slot routes, casino's traded, routes sold, casino's bought, chapter 11 and now Affinity is owned by Z Capitol Partners. If someone asked me who owns what at this point, I wouldn't have a clue. But if I read this all correctly, Affinity now owns all of Primm? But Terrible's has their business in Jean.
Maybe Terrible's is staying with their primary business, gas stations and will try to make the truck stop some kind of destination?
Side note, largest truck stop in the world: 75 acres currently developed—the site receives 5,000 visitors daily, and features a 67,000 sq ft (6,200 m2) main building, parking for 900 trucks, and 150 fuel pumps. I-80 truck stop. I'll say, all they need are some slots? I try to stop in once or twice a year. I've never visited the free truck museum. The place keeps growing! https://iowa80truckstop.com/ What made me look was the number of pumps.
Maybe I should stop at the other Iowa casinos some day. Best we've done was Prairie Meadows when we were at INDYCAR weekend at Iowa Speedway. Altoona IA was "interesting". Mostly I'd say Also used to visit Lady Luck but by the time I get through there on the way back, they are closed at Midnight on Fri and Sat. Maybe a good thing, because I'm pretty tired of two lane Iowa and might do something stupid.
