that they're all still inside the boarded up hotel. Another tale is that the hotel is haunted! (Which explains why it can't be opened to the public.) And yet another story is that there are a bunch of slot machines out behind the place in the Sacramento River - thrown there by angry Sheriff's Deputies who raided the place many years ago. In fact the full story was: the Deputies threw the machines in the River, when they left, the owner (or those Ghosts) fished them all out and started using them again (apparently Sacramento River water is a tonic for slot machines), then the cops showed up a second time and really got to heaving them out.
