Several years ago there was a coin columnist Harold Flartey who wrote for a local newspaper in Bergen County New Jersey who formed the S erendipity Coin Club. No officers, no dues, no bylaws no newsletter, etc. To be a mmber the only requirement was that when you saw any coins on the sidewalks on roadways that you pick them up.
