David, I was forced to legally cease and desist use of images copyrighted by a company that owns certain images of vintage rock and roll poster art. The images were digital pictures I took of posters that I owned after purchasing them. -- I contacted two attorneys, and was told by both that the copyright holder controls how those images may be publicly used.--- This particular company actually went after just about everyone using these images, most especially those using them on eBay to sell their own personal copies of the posters.
