Phil I once had a neighbor who was the Keno Mgr.

at the Overland Hotel Casino in Reno back in the 60's & 70's His name was Don Trimble (not related to our Gene Trimble) he worked at many casinos in the Reno/Tahoe area for many years. Was a terrific analyst, could review the financials and make profitable improvements. Wrote two books on gaming. He was especially good at improving Keno operations, would train writers how to write fast and hired the good-looking cocktail waitress from the bar, as keno runners, told me they would increase the number of tickets sold greatly. wanted to start a new game every 20 minutes, as volume meant more profits. I will try and call him if I still have his phone #, and see if he has any old tickets, I remember how good they were with the black ink brush, marked always in the center of the # a real art.
