Being A Most Fussy Examiner of Chips ---

I would say that the difference is in the cutting of the paper (or whatever the inlay surface is made of). That is, the manufacturing process did not yield a circle with the exact same margins on the two chips. I have seen that sort of variation on other casino chips before. Names, numerals, design-work a little higher or lower, or more to the left or right, making some inlays definitely off-center. But the color difference is more interesting. Scanner issue? Maybe . . . but maybe a re-order in which the colors of ALL re-ordered chips were a bit "off" in relation to the original.
