Jerry is also a chip dealer ... one of a few dealers who has had a table at everyone of the club's past conventions. As a collector/dealer, he purchases chips in anticipation for later re-sale. Jerry made an unsolicited offer which was accepted by the seller who was under no obligation to sell to Jerry. I don't see a problem here.
