These 1,000 plaques are my favorite pieces and established my interest in chip collecting and the hobby 7 short years ago. As most know, Sahara is one of my most favorite casino's to collect from. I was fortunate to recently add another to my collection. The second owner, now I am the third, inherited this plaque from a family member who may have acquired it originally from the tables years ago and it has not seen the light of day for many years. Its interesting to think who had handled this plaque and gambled with it on the baccarat tables back in 1974 when they introduced the game at the Sahara. The game lived for a very short period of time, maybe a year or so before gamblers lost interest in the game. Richie it would be nice if you still had one of those old baccarat tables. It would have gone great in my game room LOL..... If anyone has any plaques they would like to part with shoot me an e-mail for I am trying to put a set together with the same serial numbers. I believe Steve Cutler is the only person able to assemble such a set.......... thanks for looking. Doug
