I don't know if they were reused...I guess maybe if the customer didn't take them? Another one (Fremont Tavern) says "tell em where you got it", so I'm sure they intended for theirs to be advertising/souvenirs.

I think Robert is right...in today's world the glass swizzles would be a lawsuit waiting to happen. Maybe a metal swizzle? Or a wooden one, like a coffee stirrer?
